Aim & Scope

Romanian Journal of Medical and Dental Education is the official, international scientific, open access publication organ of the THE ROMANIAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATION (ADRE) ISSN 2393-1531, ISSN-L 2393-1108 that is published in accordance with independent, unbiased principles.

The publication language of the journal for Romanian, the title and abstract are in English in accordance with the international publication standards. The journal is published 6 times in a year.

Aim


The Romanian Journal of Medical and Dental Education (RJMDE) aims to publish high-quality original research, clinical studies, case reports, and review articles that advance knowledge in all fields of dental medicine and in interdisciplinary areas that connect dentistry with general medicine. The journal supports scientific rigor, academic integrity, and interdisciplinary collaboration, serving as a platform for clinicians, researchers, educators, and students interested in oral health, systemic health, and their complex interrelationship.

Scope

RJMDE accepts submissions from a wide range of areas grouped into three broad thematic domains:

1. Foundations and Clinical Disciplines of Dental Medicine

This section includes interdisciplinary research linking oral health to systemic physiology and disease:

THE ROMANIAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATION (ADRE)– member of ADEE (European Association for Dental Education), AMR (Association of Physicians from Romania) – has the purpose to create a specialized framework to put together specialists from the dental medicine area and in interdisciplinary areas that connect dentistry with general medicine as well as from the universitary education area, based on their free will, in order to connect the Romanian education system to the European one and to achieve the curricular uniformization – in country and abroad.

The editorial policies and publication process are implemented in accordance with rules set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and the Heart Group.
