Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

RJMDE is committed to maintaining high standards of scientific integrity and responsible publication practice.

The journal follows internationally recognized principles of publication ethics and takes appropriate measures when potential misconduct is identified.

Originality and plagiarism

Authors must submit original work.

Plagiarism, text recycling without appropriate citation, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication and other forms of scientific misconduct are not acceptable.

Manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software.

Duplicate and simultaneous publication

A manuscript submitted to RJMDE must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.

Material previously published substantially elsewhere should not be submitted as an original publication.

Research integrity

Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the data presented.

Fabrication, manipulation or inappropriate alteration of research data or images is prohibited.

Ethical approval

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements.

Where required, manuscripts should state the name of the approving ethics committee and approval/reference number.

Informed consent

Where individual patients or identifiable personal information are presented, appropriate informed consent must be obtained.

Animal research

Studies involving animals must comply with applicable institutional and national ethical requirements.

Misconduct

Suspected publication misconduct may result in:

  • request for clarification;
  • suspension of editorial processing;
  • rejection;
  • correction;
  • retraction;
  • notification of relevant institutions where appropriate.
