Authors may appeal an editorial decision where they believe that a significant scientific or procedural error occurred during manuscript evaluation.
Appeals should:
- clearly identify the manuscript;
- explain the reasons for the appeal;
- address the reviewers’ or editors’ concerns scientifically.
Complaints concerning editorial conduct, peer review or publication ethics should be addressed to the Editorial Office.
Complaints and appeals will be evaluated objectively and independently wherever practicable.
