ABSTRACT

In contemporary dental practice, the demand for esthetically superior prosthetic restorations continues to grow, driven by socio-cultural influences and patients’ heightened expectations regarding appearance and self-image. Complete edentulism presents a challenge in this context, as restoring function and natural appearance is essential for patient satisfaction. This article illustrates the technological workflow for fabricating a complete denture using the Candulor method—a technique known for recreating highly individualized, lifelike prostheses. Through intrinsic gingival characterization and anatomically adapted tooth selection, the Candulor technique allows for the creation of restorations that closely mimic natural oral tissues. Discussions Despite its technical complexity and laboratory limitations, this method offers significant long-term esthetic stability and advantages for patient acceptance. Conclusions The present study highlights the key procedural stages and considerations necessary to achieve optimal results in high-demand esthetic cases.
