ABSTRACT
Introduction. The rapidly increasing aging population of developed countries is expected to escalate the demand for prosthodontic treatment, especially that of removable dentures, which remains the most common treatment option for elderly, edentulous individuals. Polymer coating is a valuable surface modification technique for preparation of biomedical devices. Materials for prostheses, such as acrylic resins, represent a perfect support for biofilm formation.Conclusions.
